These time-based works explore the threshold between life and death and how the body exists through that transition. The conflict between presence and non-presence as the body shifts from a breathing, sentient being to an empty, organic shell is where my fascination manifests. What happens to the body during this dislocation? What happens to the being? And what becomes of one’s agency while straddling that boundary?
